Glasgow concert launches Refugee Week
To launch Refugee Week Scotland 2012, the Fence Collective's King Creosote will headline a concert at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket on June 18 in aid of the Scottish Refugee Council and British Red Cross, to support their continuing work to provide support to refugees in Scotland.
As well as headlining on the night and performing solo, King Creosote promises the appearance of a few special guests on stage. Support comes from The Pictish Trail and Randolph's Leap.
Tickets are now on sale. All proceeds raised will go to Scottish Refugee Council and British Red Cross. For more info about Refugee Week Scotland visit: www.refugeeweekscotland.com
