The Arts Desk is thrilled to learn that we have been nominated in the Online Media Awards 2012 [1], in the Best Specialist Site for Journalism category. See here [2] (scroll down a bit).

Amongst others, we’re up against Bloomberg, The Financial Times, The Press Gazette and The Economist.

Winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on 21 June at London’s Emirates Stadium.

The prestigious awards recognise that “there is no more exciting development in the world of media than online news and information”. They “identify the best and boldest of online news-based creativity and also the most original".
