The renowned New Orleans pianist and singer Mac Rebennack - aka Dr. John - will be launching his acclaimed new album Locked Down at Under the Bridge in West London on July 18th and 19th. The album was produced by and features Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys [1], plus a band of young musicians, and was recorded at Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound in Nashville.  

"It was way cool cutting this record with Dan and the crew he put together for it," says Rebennack.  "It's real HIP." Locked Down is Dr. John's first album for Nonesuch Records. It will be released on April 2nd, and is preceded by a single, "Revolution".
